Harbor Nights

These concerts go on rain or shine.

All concerts are 6 – 8 pm Fridays.

When the weather is good, the show is at the pavilion and lawn above Harrisville Harbor, 1 Harbor Lane, just off Lake Street in Harrisville. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and your music-loving friends.

Should it rain, the music moves to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 201 N. 2nd St., Harrisville.

The Kate Hinote Trio features Kate’s vocals along with Matthew Parmenter on violin and David Johnson on the acoustic guitar. The group tours all across Michigan and has released the albums “Near” in 2021 and “Stowaways” in 2025.

Claudia Schmidt, who is a native of New Baltimore, Michigan, released the first of her 17 albums in 1982. Her work covers folk, jazz and blues. She will be playing both guitar and dulcimer.

Dan Bracken writes in the tradition of Irish and American roots music, accompanied by his finger-style guitar. His latest album, “Finally (Part Two),” came out last year.

Songwriter John D. Lamb performs throughout Michigan and elsewhere. His Lamb’s Retreat for Songwriters is in its 32nd year. John released his fifth album, “Good Hart,” in 2023.

Multi-instrumentalist Dan Hazlett (HAZE-let)has published 10 albums. His live performances of folk and jazz always add a touch of his down-home numor.

Lee Kitzman, who goes by Easy Lee on his local radio show, released his album “Steps” one year and 11 days ago. 

Autoharp player Kathy Wieland has written songs for more than 30 years, first as half of the duo Katseye and now as a solo.

Laura Frawley writes about the bittersweet beauty of life. Her latest album is “Where Do We Go from Here?” She is also Inspiration Alcona’s president and organizer of Harbor Nights.

Josh Rose crafts his songs the old-fashioned way, without a team of Nashville helpers. He’s been touring the Midwest for a decade and has released four albums.

Kyle Joe created seven albums in 12 years under the Chain of Lakes name. His first solo album, “Take It Easy,” came out last year.

Ben Gage plays guitar and harmonica with Americana flavor. He’s toured across the US, Canada and Europe and has released three full-length albums since 2021.
